eBay, missing mother board and nutty sellers & Amish Links

Here I sit with only my Eee Pc. Why because a nutty seller on eBay says he won’t ship until I leave positive feed back as PayPal and eBay require that prior to shipment.  I know that it is my responsibility to check out the Seller, but this guy is just nuts.

Four (4) days went by before he let me know what was going on and what he has to say is so funny it is sad.

“this is a good motherboard that I am selling on ebay, in order for the, mobo to be shipped to you, you just put positive feedback on my user id l#m#sm# , I will right away contact my supplier of these motherboards , and will send you a tracking number right away … I am watching ebay all day today, waiting for the positive feedback to be displayed, and will follow up thru email on the tracking number.“

I almost couldn’t read the whole message without laughing. Not because of grammar but because he thought he’d pull a stunt like this.

As such there is not video today, most likely there will be one on Thursday, but we shall see.

The Devils Playgound is a fascinating and moving documentary about teenage aspects of Amish life. Amish are not permitted to join the church until their late teens, and have to do so of their own volition. The film explores Rumspringa, wherein young Amish are given the opportunity to explore the “English” way of life. (Very, Very Informative, slightly outdated but you should watch it if you can get it.)
