Nalty first gained notoriety for a video featured on YouTube’s front page the first week of January 2007 – “Viral Video Genius – Loses His Cool When Confronted” – where he plays a skivvy-wearing, geeky intellectual passionate about viral video making. His second featured video, “Farting in Public,” in which a young teenager named Spencer (Nalty’s nephew’s friend) uses a fart machine in public places, all the while seeming to be completely oblivious to the fact that he had done so, has been wildly popular with over 11 million views.

Dubbed “the goofy princess of cyberspace” by Australia’s version of 60 Minutes, Hill maintains one of the most subscribed channels on YouTube, with a regular audience of over 75,000. Her videos have a cumulative view count of over 17 million.

Making his YouTube debut in August 2006 with Telling it all, a series of five- to ten-minute autobiographical videos, Oakley gained immediate popularity with a wide section of the YouTube community. Amongst the autobiographical details revealed in his videos are the fact that he served as a radar mechanic during World War II, that he has had a lifelong love of motorcycles, and that he lives alone as a widower and pensioner in England.
